Restaurant Review

One of many restaurants from the Terra Momo group, this Princeton restaurant is a very popular, upscale casual restaurant in an attractive, trendy setting overlooking Palmer Square.

Its ambiance is vibrant, with a warm, comfortable, and romantic atmosphere.

They distinguish themselves by combining the flavors of the 21 countries surrounding the Mediterranean. The restaurant favors purchasing locally sourced produce, cheeses, and organic beef.

The menu also offers organic, vegan & vegetarian selections.

The interior is casually elegant with a rustic feel. The colors throughout are warm earth tones with exposed brick surrounding glass walls and wood beam ceilings with soft halogen lighting. Seating takes place around wooden tables set with square woven placemats, a white bread plate, flatware and glasses.

Mediterra has a well-stocked bar, perfect for a before-dinner cocktail while you're waiting to be seated.

The Taverna is located off to the right as you enter. There’s a bar and a couple of long cafe tables with bar stools, as well as a few tables and chairs for those looking for more private conversation.

If you’re there during the warmer months, you're in for a real treat if you are able to get a table outside on the attractive piazza with a nearby bubbling fountain. It's one of the few places in Princeton with good outdoor dining.

Mediterra is open seven/days/ week
