Night Forms, crescendos between order and chaos, with unexpected twists and "glitches" heightening the shared experience along the way. Enter sumptuous worlds never explored, this is the awe and wonder of Night Forms.
    Night Forms is a unique synthesis of video projection, light and sound as a bridge between technology and storytelling. Digital projection mapping is designed to create a dialog with sculptures in the collection, offering new perspectives and turning the act of viewing into immersive event. Sculptures shrouded in the winter landscape become beacons to remembering a long-forgotten ritual.

    Allentown Daffodil Days Festival

    The Festival is full of family-friendly events set amongst 3,000 daffodils.
    A parade at noon on Saturday March 26th kicks off a full slate of more than 30 activities (many free) and boutique shop specials. Master gardeners will answer your questions and you can meet Revolutionary War heroine Molly Pitcher while enjoying the blooms. Take a "spin" in an indoor forest or a self-guided tour of the local scenic countryside. Savor a chocolate creation of your own making and create daffodil-themed craft projects worthy of your talents. From awe-inspiring tales of colonial times to a bike parade, art contest and walks through Allentown's Heritage Park to enjoy a timeless story of Spring or support cancer research, there's something for everyone.


    Cherry Blossom Festival

    The second largest Cherry Blossom display in the United States with the National Cherry Blossom display in Washington, DC being the largest and usually occurs about two weeks earlier. This blossoms peak in the second and third weeks of April. There are over 3,000 cherry trees. The blossoms can be best enjoyed by a casual walk or picnic in the park. This is a week long festival with many events including a 10K race, trolley bus tours, and family Day with Japanese cultural activities, including demonstrations on origami, bonsai, ikebana, and martial arts.

    Start date depends on weather, usually 2nd -3rd week in April, and running for three weeks.
    Located on 300+ acres, this is a stunning farm landscape of multi-colored tulips -- a dream setting for photos and videos amongst the flowers. This past fall, the farm planted 8 million tulip bulbs, now making it the biggest u-pick flower farm in the USA!
    Guests can expect to enjoy tulip picking (just $1 a stem), photo props and selfie opportunities, furry friends at the animal barn, Little Sprouts Feeding Zoo with hundreds of adorable mini farm animals, food vendors, a bakery, gift shops, and more.

    A family friendly one day folk festival featuring three stages of music, dancing, craft vendors, children's activities, and food. This year's theme is "On the Move: Transportation and Migration" which highlights ideas of transportation, migration, and life in motion.
    This festival is not only for fun but it serves to educate people on the culture and history of traditional indigenous people, multicultural forms, and artists in New Jersey. It showcases the folk tradition and aspires to share it with the younger generations.

    This event features over 80 crafters, Allaire artisans, floral exhibits, historic demonstrations, and more. There will be Historic Demonstrations throughout the village. Local artists will be demonstrating their work. Paintings, pottery, textiles and more! In addition to craft demonstrations at the Carpenter, Blacksmith, and Tinsmith shops! General Store, Bakery, Food Truck - Pilsen Gourmet will be open throughout the day!

    Question: A Place to hold an Inexpensive Group Picnic. What is a great, but inexpensive spot for a group picnic (about 40 people)?

    Answer: I would suggest contacting your local county parks department as a good source of having sites for inexpensive picnics. Most county parks charge a small fee but they usually offer a pavilion, grills and some recreational facilities. Or visit Top New Jersey County Parks
