There will be a competition to showcase their culinary skills, with a panel of celebrity judges choosing the best of the best, along with People’s Choice awards for Best Dish & Best Beer. 20 New Jersey Breweries will be in attendance, each bringing 4 styles of Beer. One of these styles will be either a rare Beer or a Brew created specifically for this event. The event will take place outdoors and under tents, with some fantastic Music!

Come and see the 100,000 lights Dance! The shows are approximately 45 minutes long followed by all the lights on the last 15 minutes. Shows run every night through December 31st.
Along with over 100,000 Lights, On 20 nights you can watch them as they are choreographed to over 15 songs!


14th Annual Wallington Fire Department Holiday Parade

This annual holiday event features the largest night time procession of fire trucks in New Jersey. The procession is an electrifying demonstration of gift wrapped red trucks and floats with holiday lights and decorations.
The procession includes more than 100 fire companies showcasing more that 250 vehicles and floats. While most of the fire companies hail from Bergen and Passaic Counties, many come from outside the area as far away as Pennsylvania and upstate New York.

Question: Traditional/Colonial Restaurant to Celebrate Thanksgiving Day. We are a multi-generational family looking to celebrate Thanksgiving in a colonial restaurant serving a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Willing to travel and stay overnight. Any suggestions?

Answer: New Jersey has a rich Colonial & Revolutionary War history with many historic towns and Colonial buildings. However, few of the colonial era buildings now used as restaurants have been restored to maintain their original authenticity. Here are suggestions for colonial era restaurants serving traditional Thanksgiving dinners:
