Popular June Events and Happenings
June in New Jersey is packed with many fun activities and great early summer weather!

Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Festival
Saturday, June 5th & Sunday, June 6th, 2010
Monmouth Park Racetrack, NJ
Three stages of simultaneous Music! Music, Food, Beer, Music, Crafts, Games, Music, Racing, Music! Headliners lined up (Full Band listings to follow): Saturday: Smokin' Joe Kubek featuring Bnois King Sunday: John Pizzarelli All Weekend: T. J. Wheeler
Noon to 8pm both days.
Admission to the Racetrack and Festival: $3.00

New Jersey Seafood Festival
June 12 - 13, 2010
Silver Lake Park
Ocean Avenue between 5th & 6th Avenues
One of the most popular annual family festivals in New Jersey with over 150,000 people attending each year.The event is a a culinary celebration of master chefs showcasing their favorite seafood preparations along with and many fun activities for the entire family, arts and crafts, and musicians.

3rd Annual Cape May Harbor Fest
Saturday, June 19, 2010
Harbor Fest is a celebration of seafood and song; the sea, its culture, its economy and its ecology. It includes a street festival with music and over 100 vendors offering something for everyone, including a beer garden and a family dining area. There will also be arts/crafts, lab gab, touch tank, a crabbing demo, and a regatta, and the U.S. Coast Guard performing an air-to-sea search and rescue.

Plan a day trip to Liberty State Park

Liberty State Park in Jersey City has awesome views of lower Manhattan, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. It also has playgrounds, picnic areas, bike paths, jogging paths, estuary, gardens, a marina and a large, beautiful restaurant with an fantastic waterfront view. Take in The Liberty Science Center, a family science museum and the most visited museum in New Jersey. Have lunch or dinner at the Liberty House restaurant in the park. It's hard to beat this waterfront dining experience with fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and Liberty State Park. June is a good time to enjoy outside dining on the terrace.
