This very popular family event features quality rides, plenty of free entertainment, open air thrill shows, games and prizes, and a variety foods. There are a variety of activities to interest all ages.

Annual Jersey City Freedom - Fireworks Festival
July 4th, 2018; Noon - 10pm

The all-day event will feature children's entertainment, food trucks, live musical performances, and a grand finale fireworks show, one of the largest in the state. T he festival will include a food truck alley, beer gardens, outdoor activities for kids, including bounce houses and carnival rides, as well as a headliner stage at the Exchange Place Plaza on the Hudson River waterfront.
The festivities will culminate with an amazing fireworks extravaganza by Grucci set against the New York City skyline.

Atlantic City 4th of July Fireworks Celebrations

At the Marina District, the fireworks will be fired from the vacant land between The Borgata and Harrah's. The Boardwalk fireworks were shot off from both Playground Pier and Steel Pier last year, and probably will be again in 2018.
The fireworks show will be orchestrated by "Fireworks by Grucci." This well-known fireworks company conducts fireworks shows around the world, including the annual massive New Year's Eve show in Las Vegas.

16th Annual Freedom Fest State Fair

Question: Are There Any Beaches in New Jersey to have a Bonfire With a permit?

Answer; New Jersey beaches and towns have very restrictive ordinances against having Bonfires on beaches.
However, Belmar allows bonfires and picnics on the beach in a designated area. An application for a permit and approval by the Borough Fire official is required. The permit imposes many limitations, conditions, and restrictions for use of the beach for bonfires and picnics. The designated beach area lies between the foot of First Avenue and the high water mark of Shark River and the Atlantic Ocean. For a permit application and information, contact the Belmar Municipal office at 732-681-3700.
