Holiday Lights Spectacular @ the PNC Bank Arts Center

Rev up your holiday spirit with over 2.5 miles of holiday scenery and over 150 light displays. Holiday Lights Spectacular creates a magical winter wonderland in the heart of New Jersey.
For the first time this year the all new JCP&L Holiday Village will open at the end of the drive for more holiday excitement. With fun for everyone the holiday village is a heated area within the park where families can take pictures with Santa, kids can make their own gingerbread cookies and everyone can enjoy some festive holiday refreshments & snacks.
Hours: Sunday -Thursday: Dusk to 10pm, Friday & Saturday: Dusk to 11pm
Closed: November 24, 25, 26, December 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 & 31.
Admission for the Holiday Light Spectacular is $20 per car on weekdays and $25 per can on weekends. Van and Bus pricing also available. Every Tuesday is “2 for Tuesdays” and patrons can drive through the park a second time for free.

This popular annual festival features two themes in one fun family oriented event.
The fire festival is a Chili Crawl cook-off at shops and restaurants with over 40 participating chefs from Burlington County. The Ice Carving Festival takes place outdoors, in the Mill Race Village on White Street, where visitors can watch as ice carvers transform 300 pound blocks of ice into beautiful crystalline works of art. The carving begins at 10:30 a.m. and continues until the judging ends at 3:00 p.m. There will also many family oriented fun activities including an alpaca petting zoo, a dog sled demonstration, a gingerbread house decorating contest, free rides on a fire truck, and entertainment from Revolutionary War reenactors

New Jersey has many hills with public parks for safe, family snow sledding. Some of the top snow sledding hills and parks are:
Allamuchy Mountain State Park
Hackettstown, NJ, 908-852-3790 - A 7,000 acre designated natural area, they are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
Holmdel Park
Holmdel, NJ 732-946-9562 - The park is open for sledding when there is two or more inches of snow on the ground. Park hours are from 8am-7pm, Sunday through Thursday, and from 8am-9pm Friday and Saturday.
Chestnut Branch Park
