From the classical to the classic, the 24th Cape May Music Festival will offer a feast for every musical taste orchestra, chamber, world traditions, beloved classics and even a few intriguing new sounds. Alan R. Kay and the New York Chamber Ensemble and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players are returning for their annual chamber concerts and the Bay-Atlantic Symphony, under the baton of principal conductor Jed Gaylin, returns as the orchestra-in-residence

Mummers Brigade Weekend

Friday: 7 p.m. Pub crawl and friendly competition amongst various clubs at local businesses. The fun continues on Saturday with a block party on Olde New Jersey Avenue from 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. The Mummers Parade will step off on 2nd and Olde New Jersey Avenues at 4:45 p.m. and will feature ten brigades from this year's New Year's Day Parade in Philadelphia, PA. Those brigades include Satin Slipper Fancy Brigade, The Shooters, Clevemore, Avenuers, Saturnalian, Downtowners, Golden Crown, The Jokers, Shooting Stars, and South Philly Vikings. The brigades will perform without the pressure of competition, and spectators will be able to get up-close views of the beautiful costumes and intricate dance steps these eccentric performers display. FREE!

Harbor Fest is a celebration of seafood and song; the sea, its culture, its economy and its ecology. Cape May's beautiful harbor will provide the overall setting for Harbor Fest, while most land based activities will be held at or near the Nature Center. Located just adjacent to the Coast Guard Base and the Corinthian Yacht Club, the Center is situated directly ashore from the harbor's "anchor-out" zone and across the harbor from Cape May's various marinas. Venues around the harbor will be accessible by trolley.

The Atlantic City Airshow is one of AC's best summer events. Confirmed participants in the airshow include the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, USAF F-22 Raptor, USAF Heritage Flight, F-18 Hornet, USMC Harrier and the Canadian F-18. Many visitors try to beat the crowds and see the airshow the day before, when most of the acts are practicing their demonstrations in Atlantic City on approximately the same time schedule.
In previous years, the beach near Caesars Atlantic City has been the central location to see the airshow, but many of the acts are visible from the bay as well as farther down along the beach.
