With the the unofficial beginning of Summer on Memorial Day weekend now behind us, June brings with it the expectation of getting outdoors to experience all the warm weather activities we longed for during the long winter season.

Here is a capsule of some of the popular events that are happening in New Jersey during the month of June.

RiverFest 2011

3 days of outstanding food, music and family fun. Over 24 of the Jersey's Shore top restaurants prepare a sampling of their menus. It's Red Bank featured attraction for the whole family for a fun filled day. 150,000 attendees are expected. Artisans are selected to show & sell their handmade items & artwork in "Artisan's Alley." There will be rides for the kids, games,entertainment and arts & craft activities. River cruises on the Navesink River are a very popular family activity.
