GSJ Fall Fest 2019, Wine in the Pines

This family event will features Jeep vendors, craft vendors, a selection of wineries on hand for tasting and purchasing, beer for purchase, a variety of food trucks, live entertainment, as well as a family fun area.
Registration is limited to 600 Jeeps for the show. Each registration will receive 1 complimentary wine tasting ticket, an event T-shirt & glass from GSJ. To participate in the show all registrants must be parked in their designated class location by 12PM, judging will begin at 12:30pm. Trophies will be awarded for each class
This year all proceeds will again benefit Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey! They will also be on site collecting donations for care packages to send to our troops overseas!

Tropicana makes the season bright with the official Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Musical Light Show in The Quarter. The free Holiday Musical Light Show features a 35-foot ornately decorated tree with festive lights synchronized to the sights and sounds of the season.

Early 19th Century Thanksgiving

This event celebrates the end of the autumn season, and to give thanks for a bountiful harvest, the company of each other, and all the things that help to enrich our lives. Join in to come and celebrate a 19th Century Thanksgiving with our family at The Historic Village at Allaire. Starting at 11 am, special program at the historic chapel, craft demonstrations (Blacksmith, Tinsmith, Carpentry, Leather-Making and more), cooking at the Manager's House over its 18th century open hearth, and other special activities for adults and children. Bakery, General Store, and Enameling Building's Museum Store open for early holiday shopping. Additional early 19th century period cooking and other activities to "give thanks" will be spread throughout the village!

The tree is scheduled to light up the Grand Arcade at 6:45pm preceded by live music, holiday cheer and followed by continued festivities and a visit from the man with the big white beard, Santa Claus himself— who will be at the tree for photos every Sunday thereafter until Christmas from 12pm-3pm.
This is is held along with the Holiday Bazaar that will feature a curated roster of the best local and regional artists, vendors, and shops selling the cutest and coolest vintage, handmade, art, jewelry, home goods, foodstuffs, and more.
Get all of your holiday shopping done while enjoying special musical performances, Photos with Santa Sundays, holiday photo booth pictures, a 30 foot Christmas tree, fireplace lounge, and beautiful holiday decor. Check out our seasonally-inspired menu and holiday drinks at the Anchors Bend and Asbury Oyster Bar. Feeling creative? Join us for kids art classes and holiday craft workshops.
The holiday markets are inspired by the traditional "Weihnachtsmarkts" in Germany. So be sure to stop by our hot drink bar to enjoy traditional glühwein (hot mulled wine), hot chocolate or hot cider while you shop! Bring a toy or gently used coat for the AP Toy & Coat Drive or donate what you can and you will receive a 4x6 print of your Photo with Santa on Sundays, along with copies of your photos emailed to you.

Revisit the 1900 era on a horse drawn wagon. Sleigh bells will ring when the Farm holds its annual Thanksgiving program featuring free horse drawn hayrides, a wreath and sleigh bell sale, and a special children's craft program. Horse drawn hayrides (or sleigh rides!) will be offered throughout the day. There is no charge for the rides, but everyone is encouraged to bring a non-perishable food stuff to donate to local area food banks as a thank you for the wagon ride. Monetary donations to the food bank are also welcome.

Answer: Atlantic City is becoming a family destination with plenty of year round activities and things to do for kids. Some of the popular Winter kids things to do are:
Atlantic City Aquarium - Get to see  more than 100 species of fish and other marine creatures.
The Marine Mammal Center - Located in neighboring Brigantine. They are an organization that rescues, rehabilitates and releases sick and injured marine mammals and sea turtles that wash ashore on NJ beaches.
Haunted Tales - On the Boardwalk. This is a  ghostly Adventure with a special effects theatre where people can get to hear about the Jersey Devil and  pirates who still haunt the Jersey shore.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! - Located on the  Boardwalk. Exhibits a collection of weird and unusual relics and rare treasures.
IMAX Theater. Located at the Tropicana.  Has a 5-1/2 story screen with the newest  Hollywood  films and IMAX 3D releases.
Family Fun Station - Located in the Tropicana. An arcade with lots of games and prizes.
Placade Amusements. Located on the Boardwalk. Open daily, year round.  An arcade with a huge selection of games and prizes.
Skate Zone - Located on North Albany Ave. Offers public ice skating and rental skates
Rainforest Café - Located in the trump Plaza hotel. It’s a great place to eat with kids. A tropical rain forest with cascading waterfalls, lush vegetation,  animated wildlife and live tropical fish. They have a kids menu with a special treat for dessert!
