Spring Thunder in the Sand Pro/Am Motocross Races
June 1, 2, 3, 2012
Between Schellenger and Spencer Avenues
Wildwoods, NJ
A family three-day event featuring AMA-sanctioned pro/am motocross races ranging from beginner level to the area's top professional racers. The event also has a professionally designed race course on the beach consisting of twists, turns and jumps. Friday kicks off with practice rounds from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and then "Test 'n Tune" rides from 6-8:30 p.m. Saturday's races start at 10 a.m. and Sunday's races start at 9 a.m. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and children under 4 are FREE. Tickets are available at the gate the day of the event.


Michael Arnone's Crawfish Fest

3 day New Orleans Style Music, Food, and Camping Festival.
What started as a small crawfish boil for 70 people homesick for boiled crawfish in 1989, has turned into Michael Arnone's 20th Annual Crawfish Fest. Featuring the best Music and Food that Louisiana and New Orleans has to offer. Cajun, Zydeco, Delta Blues, New Orleans R&B, Brass, Gospel and Jazz on 3 Stages. The special Friday evening performances will be on the Pavilion Stage ,which will be limited to campers and King Crawfish Krewe ticket holders only. Saturday and Sunday performances will be on the Main Stage, Jager Pavilion Stage and the News 12 NJ Dance Hall featuring a 2,000 square foot wooden dance floor. The News 12 NJ Dance Hall will feature Cajun Dance Lessons from 11 AM-Noon on Saturday and Sunday.


Point Pleasant Beach Music Festival

Music stage with National, Regional and Local Jazz & Blues Artists. Wine tasting by New Jersey Wineries, Food, Crafters, Vendors and more. This is a free festival, except for the wine tasting which is a nominal charge. This continues to be a great family fun event in Point Pleasant Beach. Bring your own beach chair or bouncy mat.


Mummers Brigade Weekend
June 8, 9, 2012

Friday at 7 pm, pub crawl and friendly competition amongst various groups for the best "strut" performer. Saturday at 4:45 p.m. Parade features the top Mummers brigades from the Philadelphia New Years Day Mummers Parade


42nd New Jersey Irish Festival

State Fair at the Meadowlands

This very popular family event features quality rides, plenty of free entertainment, games and prizes, and a variety foods. There are a variety of activities to interest all ages.
