Popular August 2011 Events and Things To Do

August is the last full month of the summer season in New Jersey and is the month when families and couples make their last minute plans to get in a summer vacation, a weekend getaway, or a day trip to the Jersey Shore.

This time of the year the Jersey shore is packed with people heading for the beaches, boardwalk amusement parks, a festival, and restaurants for a taste of summer.

A day of traditional Blue Grass Music. Tailgaters will be allowed on the grounds at 5:30 p.m. and will enjoy the addition of the Union Forge Bluegrass beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature three popular bands; Union Forge Bluegrass, String Fever and the Travis Wetzel Trio.

The Atlantic City Airshow is the second largest beach front "airshow" in the United States The best viewing locations are: The rear deck of the Pier at Caesars, 100 feet into the ocean. The top floor of any parking garage, Trump Plaza, Caesars, Bally's, New York Ave Public Garage etc While the event is free, Preferred & VIP seating is available at Bellevue Ave in the center of the action for $30 - $50 per person includes a meal ticket or all you can eat & drink presented by Flight Line Club.
