With the cold and the snow storms now finally behind us, May is the beginning of the warm weather season with many outdoor events, festivals, and the unofficial beginning of Summer on Memorial Day weekend

Here is a capsule of some of the popular events that are happening in New Jersey during the month of May.

Begin May at The New Jersey Marathon Festival

Seaside Music Festival

Point Pleasant Beach Jazz and Blues Festival

Music stage with National, Regional and Local Jazz & Blues Artists. Wine tasting by New Jersey Wineries, Food, Crafters, Vendors and more. This is a free festival, except for the wine tasting which is a nominal charge. This continues to be a great family fun event in Point Pleasant Beach. Bring your own beach chair or bouncy mat.
