What's Your Beef is a neighborhood steak house popular with locals and families who are looking for a good cut of beef without having to travel very far. Many of the restaurant's patrons are repeat customers who return for the consistently good quality beef.

 

The ambiance and decor is old style rustic and in need of a remodeling. The service staff is slow and many of them have been there for generations. Yet it continues to survive despite the many larger, upscale Jersey Shore steak houses with trendy ambiance and energetic service.

 

They do it with by serving excellent beef with a unique twist of ordering. Customers place orders for steaks with the chef, who cuts and measures the meat in front of them. Steaks are ordered by the ounce with a 10-ounce minimum and no maximum.

 

The service staff is helpful in taking you through the gimmicky selection process.
