| White Manna's has become a legend in New Jersey for tasty hamburgers. You don't come to this diner for their decor (it's grimy, basic, and old time diner style) or their large selection of deli sandwiches, and certainly not for the diet conscious. You come here for their burgers and fries period! This is a very popular place so be prepared for a wait. You won't get fast food here. Called "Sliders" by the locals who frequent this place, the burgers are made from small ball shaped lumps of ground beef, cooked on the grill, flattened, and covered with layers of onions, and served on a slider sized Martin's potato roll. True slider enthusiasts will tend to eat more than one "slider". The fries are also exceptional and are separately prepared in the back room using freshly cut potatoes and soaking them in water to reduce the starch for a crispier fry. Most of the time the cook will provide entertainment and doubles as a social director as he prepares your order.
