Restaurant Review

Located in the nineteenth-century Victorian Hewitt Wellington hotel, this upscale BYOB restaurant overlooks Spring Lake providing a charming turn of the century setting for a fine dining experience.

The decor is French with an intimate dining room complete with chandeliers and comfortable furniture, yet it has an atmosphere of casual elegance.

Executive Chef Scott Giordano, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, serves up well prepared dishes with fresh ingredients that are attractive presented.

Among the entrées,try the Marinated Chilean Sea Bass with Lobster Rice Medley, Baby Bok Choy, Sesame Ginger Sauce, or the Panko Crusted Swordfish Stuffed with Crab Meat, Sauteed Spinach, Grilled Japanese Eggplant, Yukon Gold Smashed and Teriyaki Drizzle.

Save room for the desserts, they are sumptuous, try the Tarte Tatin - a French apple dessert, prepared individually and topped with a scoop of caramel ice cream or the Whispers Bananas Foster - Sauteed bananas alongside a slice of shortcake, topped with a foster sauce & ice cream

Local wine shop owner Joe Eagan will be happy to recommend a bottle and even deliver it table side.

The service is attentive and friendly.

Not recommended for kids. No children under 12 allowed, except on Mother's Day. Also open Thanksgiving. Christmas Day and New Years Eve
