Restaurant Review

The Mill at Spring Lake Heights is an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion or for a cozy romantic dinner.

The ambiance is elegant with a lakeside view from the bar and the main dining room. During the warmer months, there is outdoor dining on the deck with a scenic lake side view.

The Mill is widely known as a banquet facility for weddings, corporate events, special events and shows ---- as well as having an exceptional Sunday buffet brunch.

The restaurant and bar crowd tend to be an older 55+ crowd.

The menu is reasonably priced with well prepared classic American cuisine featuring prime aged steaks and fresh seafood. They offer a choice of a la carte or a prix fixe three course menu.

The service is friendly  and responsive.

The interior is attractive with white linen tables and booths in the main dining room spaced apart for quiet conversation. Large windows provide a scenic view of the lake.

For a romantic occasion, ask to be seated at a table overlooking the lake.

The bar area is large in an attractive setting with a view of the lake and soft live jazz playing in the background.

The Mill's Happy Hour is a lively bar scene with discounted drinks and a discounted bar menu on Tuesday through Sunday from 4-7pm, Fridays 4pm - 8pm

In addition to their restaurant dining options, they have full special event schedule of wine dinners, music, and dancing in their banquet rooms.

The Mill is open:
For Lunch: Tuesday thru Saturday, Noon – 4pm
For Dinner: Tuesday thru Sunday at 4pm
For Sunday Brunch: 11am-3pm
Closed on Mondays
Also closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during January and February

For Easter and Mothers Day, they offer a special Sunday Brunch Buffet in their picturesque Water view Room. This is good place for a family brunch with kids. They offer a good variety of brunch selections for kids and the price is very reasonable.

Open Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & New Years Eve.

How Do We Review (analyze) Restaurants?

New Jersey Leisure Guide strives to provide objective restaurant reviews .

The methodology used is research, analysis driven --- as opposed to that of a single restaurant critic or a viewer comment posting board.

Data is gathered from our viewers e-mail restaurant comments, Internet research, and professional restaurant critics. The data is sorted, (weeding out the obvious biased, "bone to pick",  and out of consensus comments), analyzed, and the review is created.
