Restaurant Review

The Dining Room at Anthony David's is a fine dining experience and one of the best Italian restaurants in Italian rich Hoboken.

The Dining room with seating for 66, includes three dining areas with a cozy, yet casual atmosphere. The decor is attractive with a modern chic feel --- wood flooring, open ceilings, tiles, and wooden tables.

The front of the restaurant opens to an Italian marble bar with a red tile facade and stool seating for 10. The dining "Room" decor has a mirrored candlelit space with pillowed banquettes with an open kitchen set off in a corner.  The back room has  seating for 20 at a communal table.

Chef/owner Anthony Pino is a graduate of the top rated culinary Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island and honed his culinary skills at the Park Avalon NYC and in creating dishes for the famed Balducci's. He is a two-time guest Chef at the famed James Beard House. Anthony Pino also owns Bin 14, Hoboken's only wine bar.

Depending on availability, Chef Pino is committed to using fresh local ingredients. The menu changes frequently with changes of seasons and availability of of fresh ingredients.

Service is unpretentious, friendly and attentive

How Do We Review (analyze) Restaurants?

New Jersey Leisure Guide strives to provide objective restaurant reviews .

The methodology used is research, analysis driven --- as opposed to that of a single restaurant critic or a viewer comment posting board.

Data is gathered from our viewers e-mail restaurant comments, Internet research, and professional restaurant critics. The data is sorted, (weeding out the obvious biased, "bone to pick",  and out of consensus comments), analyzed, and the review is created.
