Restaurant Review

This is not just a restaurant, it's a show and dinner in Caesars Hotel.

It's a great place to go with a group where good food and fun is what you want, especially if you come with a group of friends or family.

The Bacchanal puts on an ancient Roman feast and celebration of Bacchanalia, a legendary feast of fine dining and sumptuous spirits!

This New Jersey dining experience is a five-course, prix-fixe Roman feast that includes all the wine you can drink.

Throughout the evening, you're attended by a wine goddess pouring selections of white, red, rose wines and champagne to complement each course. You will be entertained by harpist's, strolling guitarist, and a wandering magician.

The menu selections start with an attractive presentation of antipasto, including massive shrimps, artichoke hearts, stuffed grape leaves, creamy lobster bisque, and a variety of chilled appetizers on an illuminated pedestal.

Entrée choices include Filet Mignon, Grilled Rack of Lamb, Crab Cakes, Herbed Veal Chop with wild mushrooms, Seared Beef Tenderloin, Rock Shrimp, Crusted Sea Bass and Salmon, and Half Lobster and Tequila Shrimp over linguine.

Save room for the desserts, they offer Flambeed Bananas foster or Cherries jubilee over vanilla ice cream, Praline imperial with a silky white mousse and Passion chocolate cake layered with chocolate granache and chopped walnuts.

Service is friendly, and pampering, although it tends to be slow during the peak dining hours.
