Restaurant Review

This very popular Southern Italian bistro is the best Italian restaurant in Jackson.

They are located in an attractive stand alone building that invites you to enter into the lobby area where seating and deli cases are filled with gourmet Italian food products and fresh baked desserts.

There are two dining rooms and the decor in the main dining room is pleasant and soft, with earth toned walls and burgundy drapes, soft lighting and candlelit tables.

The real reason you come to Solo Bella is the fresh home style prepared southern Italian food -- at a very attractive price. They serve up gargantuan portions of food with the freshest ingredients, seafood, meats, and pastas.  The menu is loaded with traditional red sauce Italian favorites.

The menu caters to Italian family traditions and if you are 1st or 2nd generation Italian you will enjoy the Sunday special where, everyone at the table eats and shares the same antipasti, salad, pastas, entrees and desserts and coffee preparations from what "Mama Cooks". You will leave with "doggie bags" of food!

Each night there is also a daily special with unbeatable prices and portions.

They also serve up outstanding brick oven, wood fired thin crusted pizza's.

Solo Bella tends to get a little noisy in the main dining room when the restaurant is crowded.

In the warmer summer months, there is out door dining on the deck

Come early! They don't accept reservations for small parties and there can be a long wait on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Family and child friendly.

Menu prices are cash only, they add an additional fee for Credit card payment
