This storefront restaurant on Main Street in Red Bank serves up good regional Italian food with attentive service. The decor is attractive, with soft earth toned walls, although the tables are placed very close and the noise level can get very high. Not recommended if you are looking for a cozy, quiet dining experience. The food is well prepared with fresh ingredients and the service is friendly and attentive. While it is BYOB, they provide a wine menu from a nearby liquor store that will deliver in a matter of minutes without a delivery charge. The recommended appetizers are: Tuna Tartar with sushi grade tuna with grilled asparagus, lemon pressed olive oil and capers; and the Calamari Fritti, with house made tomato sauce and fresh lemons; The recommended dinner entrees are: Veal Osso Buco, Florentine style braised veal shank with saffron risotto Milanese; or the Spaghetti Pescatore, shrimp, mussels, clams and calamari sauteed with extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and pepperoni in a white wine and roasted tomato brodetto.
