| If you are looking for that special occasion restaurant for business clients or a night out with friends who enjoy a good cigar and steak, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is upscale and in an old world, boys club setting. Be forewarned, despite having a smoke-free dinning area, if you are not a smoker, you may be uncomfortable as the ventilation systems does not remove the cigar smell from the downstairs non-smoking dining room. The prime aged steaks, chops, fresh seafood, and pasta specials are top quality. For starters, try the Colossal Shrimp Cocktail or the Half Lobster Cocktail. For dinner entrees, try the 2oz. Prime Aged Porterhouse Steak; the Australian Lobster Tail 16oz, prepared Classic Cognac Style; or the Sesame Crusted Tuna with a Pineapple Ginger Sauce & Wasabi Aioli. The pasta daily specials are also recommended. Save room for dessert; they are worth waiting for. Try the Smoking Cheese Cake Served light & creamy, plain or with fresh berry sauce Original N.Y. style; or the Italian Cannoli Fresh from Farrara's in Little Italy, NYC. They offer a good selection of cocktails and wines and you can BYO for a $20 corkage fee. Service is very good with old world style attention. Valet Parking is recommended. |
