Restaurant Review

While the location offers a great waterfront view of the NYC skyline, the beef is the reason you come to this chain restaurant.

The decor is sophisticated, upscale casual, with dark woods, comfortable booths, well spaced tables, and an inviting ambiance.

While the food is well prepared from choice cuts of aged beef, there are better steakhouses in the very competitive New Jersey/NYC area.

The weekday lunch and dinner times are frequented by the power lunch people and on weekends by people either celebrating a special occasion, or wanting a good steak house in an attractive setting.

Many of the choice cut beef dishes are served in sizzling butter on 500 degree plates.

For starters, try the Seared Ahi Tuna with a spicy sauce of ginger, mustard and beer; or the Veal Osso Buco Ravioli Saffron with fresh mozzarella cheese, sauteed spinach, and a white wine demi glace.

For dinner entrees, try the Filet Mignon, a very tender cut of corn-fed Midwestern beef, or the New York Strip, a USDA Prime cut.

There also also good selections chicken, pork and seafood entrees along with Creole appetizers like shrimp remoulade.

For dessert, there are the traditional homemade desserts like cheesecake and bread pudding

The service is attentive and professional.
