Rocca is a local Glen Rock favorite managed by co-owners Craig and Stacy Levy with Craig Levy also running the kitchen.
Chef Levy comes with excellent credentials having received his formal culinary training at The Culinary Institute of America and later honed his cooking skills at the kitchens of the Waldorf-Astoria and Gotham Bar & Grill in NYC prior to opening Rocca in 2004.
The local farm to table seasonal menu with some organic selections features local produce & cheeses from nearby New Jersey & Pennsylvania farms.
Chef Levy menu features a variety home made pasta dishes. On Thursdays they offer a special 5 course pasta tasting menu at a very affordable price.
The dining experience begins on a positve note with a serving of house-made warm focaccia with a soft texture covered with a crusty sprinkling of sea salt.
The 110 seat dining area is attractively done up in soft earth tones of gold, orange and maroon. The wall are adorned with artwork and shutter-framed mirrors. Large picture windows with twinkle lights offer a view of downtown Rock Road. Tables are modestly covered with white paper.
They are child friendly with a kids menu.
Rica is open Tuesday – Thursday 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m; Friday & Saturday 5:00 p.m- 10:00 p.m. and Sunday 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.
