This is a back in time, 1930s brasserie that has been a Montclair tradition for more than 15 years. It's an old time diner, but not of the Doo-Wop 1950s tradition. Instead, it's done in a 1930s style, with clean white tiles, dark wood, colored vintage seltzer bottles, antique mirrors, and red banquettes. It offers home style cooking, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and diner and is especially popular with family's and kids. For breakfast the popular dishes are the omelets and the French toast. They also serve the best burger in town, loaded up succulent french fries. Dinner favorites include duck confit, pepper crusted yellow fin tuna, and lamb shank. Where you sit at Raymond's will affect your dining experience; Try to be seated in a booth or a table with some unobstructed view. Family Friendly, BYOB. |
