This Marlboro Italian restaurant is a true fine dining restaurant in many ways, and stands out amongst the many mediocre Italian restaurants in the Marlboro and Freehold area and is the closest thing to New York Style dining without making the trip to NYC. It's an energetic, busy scene! From the decor that is rich with soft tones adorned with columns and dark wood molding set with candlelit tables, to the Tuxedo clad waiters who offer excellent service, and of course the food, that is well prepared and presented with fresh ingredients, that include such international delicacies as Kumamoto Oysters, braised escargot, South African lobster, and Kobe beef. Can't miss finding Pino's Restaurant; It's a stand alone, brightly lit building on Route 9 North with a facade like a huge Marlboro mansion. While most of the dishes are reasonably priced in the $20 to $30 range, be prepared for for some pricey selections if you wish to try the sumptuous Colorado Rack of Lamb for $39 or the Kobe Strip Streak for $75. If you plan to come on Friday or Saturday evenings, reservations are a must, even for a party of two. Even with reservations, be prepared to wait 10 to 15 minutes while your table is ready. They have an attractive bar where you can enjoy a cocktail while waiting for your table. On the busier Friday and Saturday evenings, the parking lot tends to fill up and valet parking is the alternative. It's Family and Child friendly. |
