Pino's La Forchetta is an Italian restaurant that can be classified legitimate fine dining restaurant in many ways, and stands out amongst the many mediocre Italian restaurants in the Marlboro and Freehold area. It is the closest thing to New York Style dining without making the trip to NYC. It's an energetic, busy scene, with a full bar and live piano music.! The decor and ambiance is 90's style with soft tones adorned with columns and dark wood molding and candlelit table set with linens. The Tuxedo clad wait staff is friendly and attentive, except on busy Saturday evenings when they can be over taxed. The menu offers mostly traditional and basic Italian and American dishes that are well prepared using fresh ingredients. Can't miss finding Pino's Restaurant; It's a stand alone, brightly lit building on Route 9 North with a facade like a huge Marlboro mansion. While most of the dishes are reasonably priced in the $20 to $30 range, be prepared for for some pricey (special) selections. If you plan to come on Friday or Saturday evenings, reservations are a must, even for a party of two. Even with reservations, be prepared to wait 10 to 15 minutes while your table is ready. They have an attractive bar where you can enjoy a cocktail while waiting for your table. On the busier Friday and Saturday evenings, the parking lot tends to fill up and valet parking is the alternative. It's Family and Child friendly. |
