Food is reasonably priced with a good selection of lighter menu selections Service is well trained, professional, and friendly. Iced Tea refills are an additional charge. Value: Good Noise Level: High during peak times Dress: Casual Recommended For: Diners who enjoy good Italian food at a reasonable price with trendy ambiance and are in need of fast service. Not Recommended For: Diners who prefer more complex Italian food in a slower paced, more formal setting. Recommended dishes: Orecchiette Salsicca (pasta w/broccoli rabe and Italian sausage); Veal Piccata (veal w/ white wine, lemon and capers, served with lemon-asparagus risotto); and Bistecca alla Brace (aged center cut New York sirloin with braised spinach and crispy potatoes). Liquor: Full Bar with good wine list. Wines are served in very large, attractive wine glasses. They also offer tasting flights of three two-ounce pours. Vibrant bar scene.

Located in the high-end Short Hills Mall, Papa Razzi is an attractive, modern Italian chain restaurant owned by the Back Bay Restaurant Group.

This is a popular restaurant for couples, a group of friends, and families.

The Italian food is a mix contemporary and traditional Italian, prepared on the lighter side. They also have good thin crusted pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Gluten free pizzas are available as a standard menu item.

If you don't see your favorite dish on the menu, they are flexible and will try to accommodate your request. Vegetarian dishes can be easily accommodated on request.

The before dinner bread servings are both warm and tasty.

The interior is attractive. There is a nice view of the oven with flames and the walls are adorned with Italian memorabilia and posters. Dining is under dim lighting and soft themed music playing in the background.

Seating and aisle space can very cramped, especially at lunch time when all tables are filled and shoppers with strollers are in larger numbers.

Papa Razzi is open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
