In the summer of 2010 they upgraded their look and expanded their menu to offer diners more options. Nonna's is a very popular Italian dining restaurant that offers generous portions of Italian food at a reasonable price. It's a great value for budget conscious diners looking for good value without breaking the bank, especially when dining with large parties of families and friends. They are kid and family friendly and are especially attentive in accommodating large groups. The decor at Nonnas is attractive, with a large gas fired stone fireplace in the center of the large dining room. The walls are done up in earth tones with murals on some of the walls. Large tables seating 6 or more are plentiful and placed comfortable apart around the stone fireplace, with booths for seating of 2-4 people located around the perimeter of the walls. The bar area has several large display TV's and a good selection of reasonable priced beers and wines . Reservations for parties of 6 or more are accepted, and on busy Friday Saturday evenings, long waits of an hour or more can be expected for parties without reservations. The food at Noonas is served up mostly in family style sharing portions. The family style menu "Solo Per Due" for two people at $32 is an exceptional value and includes a choices of a salad, a pasta, a chicken or veal entree, and a selection from the oven. Only the most hearty appetites will be able to finish the entire meal. While their main courses of food are generally mediocre, their bread, served warm in a large basket, and their desserts, are excellent, and set the tone for the beginning and ending of the meal. For dessert, their cannoli's are sumptuous. If you have room for a large dessert, try the "Holy Moly" Cannoli, it's filled with 1 lb of tasty cream and chocolate chips. For the less hearty, they also have a delicious smaller cannoli. The service at Nonnas is friendly and attentive.
