Restaurant Review

One of the most famous Philadelphia chef's of Le Bec Fin, georges, and brasserie perrier, Georges Perrier has teamed up with protege Chris Scarduzio to create an exceptional Italian restaurant in Caesar's.

The decor is impressive with 40 ft. high ceilings, columns, very thin sheer drapes between the columns that serve as outer walls, white linen tablecloths and china. For an outdoor illusion, they have placed tables outside the entrance with umbrellas over them.

This is a popular dining spot with 30 to 50-year-old diners. It's also a good place for fine romantic dining and people watching with a great view of the casino and crowds.

Mia restaurant is elegant and attractive, but not fancy in the style of Le Bec-Fin.

Your dining experience begins with an awesome serving of warm wheat rolls with a number number of dipping options including aromatic basil pesto, tomato pesto, or smeared with a soft clove from a whole bulb of roasted garlic.

The food is well prepared and creatively presented, although on the pricey side.

The popular starters are; Imported prosciutto di parma with shitake mushroom and red Onion salad, and pecorino cheese; Steamed Prince Edward Island mussels with garlic bread, chorizo sausage, shaved fennel, and tomato broth; and the Steamed Mahogany clams and langoustines aith preserved lemon and pancetta sauce.

The popular dinner entrees are: the Grilled branzino with prosciutto braised escarole, roasted salsify, jumbo lump crabmeat, and seven herb pesto;
the Grilled 8 oz. filet mignon with porcini mushroom polenta cake, creamed leeks, and Barolo wine sauce; and the Sicilian crusted sushi grade yellow fin tuna with orzo puttanesca and provencal sauce.

The desserts are equally impressive; try the Tahitian Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee with raspberry sorbet and biscotti; or the Chocolate Extravaganza,
Chocolate pudding layered with dark chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate crunch and nut crumble.

The service at Mia is professional, well trained, and attentive.
