Restaurant Review

This Turkish BYOB is a fine dining restaurant that's worth traveling that extra distance if you enjoy good Turkish cooking.

The setting is in the Summerton Plaza strip mall in Manalapan, with an ambiance that is pleasantly attractive with warm dark red walls, soft lighting, and Turkish music in the background.

For starters, try the popular favorites, the chick pea Hummus and eggplant mash Baba Ghanoush.

For entrees, they serve an excellent variety of chicken and lamb dishes; the lamb kebab was especially well prepared and tasty. The entrees come with succulent rice pilaf and a mixture of vegetables. I would not recommend the Branzini though, there are many other Monmouth County restaurants that offer better Branzini.

Save room for the dessert, the very creamy rice pudding is excellent. You will not find many restaurants that make a better rice pudding.

Servers are friendly and attentive and the owners attentively work the room to ensure that you are pleased and welcome your feedback.

There is Live Belly Dancing on Friday & Saturdays.
