Restaurant Review

The Longhorn Steakhouse chain of restaurants with 18 locations in New Jersey is a cut above many of the chain restaurants in its category.

While longhorn is not to be compared with the the top end fine dining steakhouses, it is a good place to go for a casual night out with the family or a group of friends who enjoy good, fresh food at a very reasonable price.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is attractive with a western motif. The walls are done up in earth tone colors and stone, with western paintings, copper, and cowboy knickknacks, and soft lighting. The bar is also set in an attractive stone setting with a few large display TV's for the sports minded.

Longhorn Steakhouse is very kid friendly where the kids are given crayons and coloring sheets. They have a kids menu with a good inexpensive choices.

The service is excellent: Well trained, very friendly and attentive.

They serve a good variety of alcoholic drinks and their margaritas are popular.

How Do We Review (analyze) Restaurants?

New Jersey Leisure Guide strives to provide objective restaurant reviews .

The methodology used is research, analysis driven --- as opposed to that of a single restaurant critic or a viewer comment posting board.

Data is gathered from our viewers e-mail restaurant comments, Internet research, and professional restaurant critics. The data is sorted, (weeding out the obvious biased, "bone to pick",  and out of consensus comments), analyzed, and the review is created.
