| Don't be confused by the name, this isn't another mediocre Italian restaurant that dots the Collingswood landscape. This BYOB is a fine dining new American restaurant offering fine dining with good price value. Chef/owner Nicholas LoBianco and his wife, Stephanie opened this restaurant in the Spring of 2008 with a New American seasonal menu of well prepared, creative dishes, with French, Asian and Mediterranean influences. Stephanie oversees the dining area greeting patrons in a warm and friendly manner and checking to ensure that your dining experience is an enjoyable one. The decor is eclectic with neutral cream and black, with one wall of exposed brick, and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The menu is not extensive but is interesting and exciting. When available, some of the popular starters are; The Roasted tomato soup with pesto drizzle; and the Mission Fig with grilled Persimmon made with fresh figs, grilled persimmon, prosciutto, shaved parmigiano, balsamic scented arugula, and lavender honey. When available, the popular dinner entrees are; The Sea Scallops with Steak Au Poivre amde with diver sea scallops, seared hanger steak, roasted garlic pommes puree, and sauce au poivre; Alaskan Halibut with Crab Cassole made with pistachio encrusted halibut fillet, sherried artichoke hearts, cannellini bean, jumbo lump crabmeat, and lemon beurre blanc. The desserts though, do not measure up to the quality and care of the starters and entrees. The service is friendly and attentive.
