Restaurant Review

Lahiere's one of the oldest fine dining restaurants in Princeton, serving up well prepared American fare with fresh ingredients.

While the food over the years has changed to more fine dining American dishes, the decor has not kept pace with other changes and it has the atmosphere of a 60's, setting.

The food is very good, but not creative, and a little pricey. It's focus is on steaks and seafood.

Popular favorites include; roasted chicken breast with a goat cheese-potato puree, the grilled calves liver, the honey glazed roasted duck, and the grilled filet of beef, the sesame-crusted yellow fin tuna and the pan-roasted Atlantic salmon.

With an exceptional, award winning wine list, it's a good place for entertaining clients.

The service is attentive, although not very friendly.
