Located on Route 9 South at an inauspicious location behind the Delta gas station, across Rt 9 from Shoprite. This upscale, fine dining restaurant is a "Hidden Gem" and not at all what you would expect from it's location.
In an area where exceptional fine dining restaurants are practically non-existent, this New York style destination restaurant stands out as the place to go to celebrate a special occasion or to entertain a valued client.
The ambience is chic with an attractive decor that gives off a contemporary feel with jewel tone lighting, a glass-in mirrored wall supporting wine bottles, red banquets, and a beautiful onyx bar. Meals are served in attractive dinnerware with coverings to lock in the warmth before as it reaches your table.
Just is both a restaurant and lounge. On Fridays and Saturdays, Just becomes an after-hours lounge from 11:00pm until 2:00am when some of the tables are cleared for the dance floor with live DJ entertainment, specialty cocktails, and specialty lounge menu.
The kitchen is under the direction of accomplished Executive Chef Ira Siegel. An honors graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Seigel has honed his culinary skills under famed chefs from the Waldorf-Astoria, the River Café and The Water Club in NYC, in addition to having worked under the direction of Wolfgang Puck and Jean-Louis Palladin.
Chef Seigel is a master at preparing a seasonally changing menu featuring organic, free range, wild caught seafood with sustainable and local ingredients whenever possible. Dishes are served both in tapas and full sized portions.
The dinner begins on a positive note with two types of warm homemade bread accompanied by infused butter.
From there your dining experience includes many of the thoughtful amenities only experienced at the best fine dining restaurants including a very tasty complimentary starter from the chef and a sorbet intermezzo to cleanse palate after your appetizer. Desserts are sumptuous made on the premises by Pastry Chef Lauren Genco.
The wait staff is professional, well trained, and attractively dressed in black shirts and pants with red ties. As an example of attentive service, drop your napkin on the floor and within 10 seconds, one of the wait staff will rush over with a replacement napkin.
