The Jul Dans is a celebration of christmas in the scandinavian style. It is held every year the Saturday after thanksgiving at Vasa Park in Budd Lake, NJ. This is a most classic celebration of christmas you and your family will never forget.
The evening consists of "ring" dancing in the old-fashioned style around a live lit Christmas tree in the center of the wood dance floor. The live music headed by MC Jeanne Whitman and friends, gives a heart felt and warm performance all night long with holiday music. The all night dancing includes a home cooked feast. With priority seating and a full cash bar, the Jul Dans provides traditional home cooked foods and desserts. We also have home made jul glogg in the spirit of Christmas. For those who know Scandinavian culture well, we include a St. Lucia. pageant presented by the children, in which every one is invited to sing by candle light.
The dance is held at the cultural center at Vasa Park. It is a semi-formal evening for the whole family. Also, there will be a surprise visit from Santa Clause himself.
