Restaurant Review

This longtime popular Newark soul food restaurant has consistently demonstrated exceptional, well prepared food.

A popular spot for many Newark politicians for breakfast and lunch.

If you can handle the wait, and don't mind the rudimentary decor, you will be in for a treat.

It's down home Southern cooking in a family atmosphere that offers Newark's best corn bread, mac 'n' cheese, short ribs, fish and greens, smothered Chicken, catfish, pork chops, fried catfish, collards,fried corn, okra, and black eyed peas.

Save room for dessert. Try the coconut-pineapple cake or the chocolate layer cake.

Je's restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday, 8:00 am - 7:30 pm
