Boys & Girls Club to host Jam in the Park
The Boys & Girls Club of Vineland is continuing its fifth anniversary celebration with an outdoor concert.

The Jam in the Park Arts, Music & Food Festival is scheduled on Oct. 24 and 25 at Giampietro Memorial Park.

The event includes a talent showcase and an ages 5 to 14 Halloween costume show-off.

Jam in the Park aims to take its place as one of Vineland's premier free outdoor family affairs, according to Executive Director of the Vineland Club Chris Volker.

This special event is being staged with the intent for both residents and visitors in family groupings to gather in a vibrant atmosphere of family recreation, hear great music, browse and shop a variety of vendors of arts and crafts, feast on barbecue and other festival foods, and celebrate the mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Vineland, Volker said.

Local pop sensation Diverse will be performing their own medleys of Pop and R&B classics of N?Sync, New Kids On The Block, The Jacksons, The Four Seasons and The Temptations while hosting a slate of performances including Jersey pop-rockers Solfege Radio, jam band Mother's Borsch from Upstate New York, pop vocalist Wendy Betts, local hip-hop dance troupe Push Forward, R&B singer Sleek, hip-hop rapper T.E.D. and the Reggaeton duo of Multiflow.

There will also be a "surprise" appearance by NBC TV 40 news anchor Teresa Berry, and a line-dancing exhibition presented by members of the Let's Dance cable TV show.

Jams in the City, LLC, is producing the event in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club, Jerseyshows.com, and P-Jam Sounds, plus assistance from Monster Energy Drink crew.
