Restaurant Review

Located in the Showboat Hotel, this national chain serves up above average chain food in an energetic, youthful atmosphere. The decor is attractive and the prices are reasonable, especially by Atlantic City restaurant standards.

This is casual eating in a cajun themed atmosphere.

The menu offers many cajun selections served in generous portions. They serve burgers, sandwiches, soups, and full entrees.

The popular starters are; Crispy Catfish Nuggets with sweet potato French fries and spicy tartar sauce; and the Pan Seared Voodoo Shrimp with Rosemary cornbread in a dixie beer reduction.

The popular dinner entrees are the Creole Jambalaya with shrimp, chicken, tasso ham, Andouille sausage and roasted green onions; and the Full Rack of Slow Smoked Tennessee style baby back ribs with Jim Beam BBQ sauce and mashed sweet potatoes.

On Sundays they serve a gospel brunch with an inspiring gospel performance.
