This off-the-boardwalk restaurant is not as convenient as some other AC spots, but it’s a memorable eating experience in a fast paced resort town. The restaurant is popular with celebrities who look for privacy as well as anyone with an appreciation for well-prepared Southern Italian food. The restaurant decor is bright and airy, and elegantly decorated with upholstery by Versace and has the feeling of a Mediterranean café. In the warmer months, enjoy lunch or dinner on the lush garden patio. A dominant fixture in the restaurant is the Puglia, Italian style, white-brick oven where pizzas and the carpiccio slices of filet mignon are warmed over. The recommended dishes are; The Salt crusted Bronzino; The Langoustine; Tagliatelle with Bolognese; Farfalle al salmon; and Ossobuco con piselli e funghi. Save room for dessert, the Tiramisu and the Torta di Ricotta cheesecake, are sumptuous. The service is professional, attentive and friendly. Jackets are suggested.
