Located on a side street off Red Bank's Broad Street, this energetic, trattoria style Italian restaurant serves up outstanding dishes that are creatively prepared with the freshest ingredients, at a reasonable price. The restaurant has an open-air kitchen with a brick oven, and a cafe atmosphere that gives you the feeling of dining in Italy. For starters try the Lobster Ravioli stuffed with Maine lobster and ricotta, served with a tomato, basil cream sauce or the Fried Calamari served with a side of marinara sauce. For entrees try the Grouper Oregenato, baked with white wine, butter, fresh basil and lemon juice; Linguini with White Clam Sauce; Bow tie Pasta tossed with chicken, sausage, broccoli rabe, and plum tomatoes, served in a roasted garlic, virgin olive oil, and parmigiano cheese sauce; or the signature 22 oz. pork chop. In the mood for real Italian style pizza? Their brick oven pizza is exceptional, perhaps the best in Central New Jersey. It's prepared with a thin, fresh made crust and plenty of creamy, tasty, fresh mozzarella brought in from Brooklyn, and offered with a variety of toppings to choose from. It doesn't stop there, save room for desserts they are homemade with fresh ingredients. While they are BYOB, local wine is available from Westfall Winery in Montague NJ. They are child friendly. |
