Restaurant Review

Frankie & Johnnie's is a longtime favorite Hoboken steak house with a little history and a lot of exceptional steaks.

This restaurant one one of serveral in the NJ/NYC area and is located in a 150 years plus dock workers saloon with a dark wood paneled interior and a nice bar that has become a gathering place for the 40+ crowd.

Frankie and Johnnie's has built it's reputation on serving top quality dry-aged steaks for more than 75 years.

Some of the popular starters include; clams casino, French onion soup, crab cakes and gazpacho with lump crabmeat. The entrees that are not to be missed are; the porterhouse steak for two, the sirloin steak, the petite filet mignon, and rib eye. Try the creamed spinach, it's exceptional.

The atmosphere is augmented with a weekend pianist, and live weekly jazz.

The service is attentive and friendly and they offer valet parking.
