Reasonably priced food. A good selection of craft beers and a friendly bar with good tavern food. The interior is dated and can use an upgrading. Parking can be difficult on busy weekends, the adjacent public lot fills early. . Value: Very good Noise Level: Moderate to high during peak times Dress: Very casual Recommended For: Diners who enjoy moderately priced, basic food in a friendly tavern setting. Not Recommended For: Diners who prefer more complex food in a trendy setting. Recommended dishes: Fettuccini Con Gorgonzola; Filet Mignon Au Poivre; and the Shrimp Scampi. Liquor: Full bar with a good selection of craft beers, including New Jersey's Flying Fish. Many of the beers change weekly.

Located in an historic circa 1682 brick building, this family oriented restaurant is a very popular place for the locals and a good place to meet up with friends for dinner and drinks.

There is upstairs and downstairs seating. The bar being the focal point on the first floor with 8 tables for dining and additional seating for 10 people at the bar. Upstairs in the main dining room, the dark painted walls are adorned with black and white and color photographs, and tables set with white linens.

The menu is very basic with a selection of steaks and chops, veal, poultry, seafood, and pasta dishes. They also offer a selection of homemade desserts. Nothing spectacular, just your basic entrees.

The Farnsworth House is child friendly.

They are open for Lunch from 11am to 3 pm, and for Dinner from 3 pm to 10 pm, 7 Days a week, 365 Days a year.
