Restaurant Review

The French BYOB's ambiance is decidedly a French bistro with closely spaced tables in a small dining area. The tables are set with linen and topped with white paper, and French doors open to outdoor, sidewalk seating, during the warmer months.

The food is well prepared with fresh ingredients and is reasonably priced.

Under new ownership since the end of 2006, the food and atmosphere have changed little, although the service and friendliness have improved.

The recommended entrees are: Seared Snapper Provencale with
Truffle Whipped Potato;
Crispy Confit Of Duck Legs On Pumpkin And Blue Cheese Risotto With Walnuts; and Hanger Steak With Bone Marrow, Haricots Verts And Mashed Yukon Gold Potato.

Save room for the desserts, try the Crème Brulee or the Chocolate Mousse.

The noise level is high on the busier Friday and Saturday evenings, and if you are looking for a cozy, intimate or romantic dinner, try it during the weekday evenings when it is less crowded. Not recommended for family or child dining.

The service is friendly and attentive.
