One of the best keep secrets in the Atlantic City - Margate area, Sous chef Marino Rodriguez has taken over as Executive chef and has upgraded the menu to include many lighter items. The interior decor is a narrow, 70-seat room is with weathered wood, corrugated tin and blazing pastel colors with old-time Shore photos. Chef Rodriguez serves up very creative seasonal seafood dishes with fresh ingredients. For starters try the Cracked Wheat Salad with
Pecans, Asparagus, Black Grapes, Mache, and
Herb Vinaigrette; or the Tomato Fettuccine with
Baby Corn, Soy Beans, Ramps, Mushrooms, Prosciutto and
Truffle Cream. For entrees, try the Hiramasa Fish (Rare) with
Mangoes, Fava Beans, Mushrooms, Apples, and
Tropical Green Tea Reduction; or the Dorade with The service is friendly and attentive.
