Restaurant Review

This Brielle Italian restaurant is popular with the locals and is a good place to go with friends when you are in the mood for traditional Northern Italian food in a friendly atmosphere.

Owner Vito Rizvani and Chef Richard Ruffini have put together a menu that is reasonably priced and well prepared. Although, this is not the place to come to if your are looking for creative or imaginative dishes.

The interior is pleasant with a new marble bar that is a popular gathering place with it's flat screen TV's and live piano music on the weekends. There is also a fireplace that makes for a cozy touch during the colder winter months.

The recommended appetizers are the Zuppa de Clams with broth; the Pasta Fagoli; and the Clams Casino.

For entrees, try the Steak au Poivre; or the Osso Buco; or the Ahi Tuna with a Sesame Seed Peppercorn Crust.

They have a decent wine list that is reasonably priced.

The service is friendly, attentive and efficient.
