Restaurant Review

Atlantic City's oldest restaurant and an institution, serves up good, fresh sea food.

Located away from the bustling casinos, you can drive up with free parking and enjoy dining in a relaxed environment.

The interior is dark wood and features an oyster raw bar.

They have a good variety of traditional seafood dishes and are especially noted for their soft-shell crabs, lobster and seafood platters.

Recommended entrees are: Pecan Crusted Salmon over sautéed spinach, mushrooms, apples with horseradish sauce; Grilled Yellow fin Tuna with veal demi-glace, morels, cipollini onions, and ratatouille risotto; Lobster Tail, 16 to 18 ounce lobster tail broiled and served with drawn butter; Crab Meat Sauté, jumbo lump crab meat, sautéed lightly with butter, shallots, garlic, lemon, parsley and chives; and Cowboy Steak, a 26 ounce bone-in rib eye with grilled vegetables and pommes soufflé.

However, be prepared to wait for a table.

The service is friendly, however during peak times it can be inconsistent.
