Deerfield Harvest Festival Arts & Craft Show

It was great!! It took place on a beautiful weekend in Deerfield Twp.,in the pretty town of Rosenhayn, NJ. Held at Deerfield Fire Company's large, grassy, open lot, it had live music most all day of Saturday & Sunday October 11 & 12, 2008. (It actually started on Friday evening, Oct.10, but I did not attend that night.)
Music was great and varied to suit all tastes. They even had a FREE concert by the well-known and excellent group called LONESTAR, which was wonderful! There were many craft vendors, all items were very nice to beautiful. There were many novelty items sold, too, which pleased the kids. The lady in charge of vendors was helpful, kind, and there often enough to see if you needed anything. The surrounding vendors were friendly and fun. The price for a 5x10 spot was about $70 with lighting provided all day under their festive canopies. (We had two spots, which we needed, because the spots were small.)There were plenty of food vendors to keep you full all day. There were kids activities, like pony/horse rides, pro bike riders' presentation, face painting, etc.
The festival organizers were very organized, as this was their 30th year. Parking was well-planned, especially for vendors, and upon receiving your application, they even sent you a layout of the vendors' area with exact number of your spot. There was no fee to visitors.
I would go to it as a visitor OR as a vendor again, any year.
