Restaurant Review

Corso 98 is a cut above many of the traditional Montclair Italian restaurants.

Located in a storefront setting, the atmosphere is welcoming with attractive decor done up with brick stucco walls adorned with pictures of an Italian landscape. The tables are surrounded by padded chairs and set with fresh flowers and white tablecloths.

Complimented by soft, background Italian music, the stage is set for a romantic evening or a quiet conversation with a small group of friends or family.

Corso 98 is a family run business, owned by Elio and his brother and Chef, Corradino Suriano. Chef Suriano runs a kitchen that serves a good a variety of simple, but well prepared Italian dishes. Pastas are home made.

This is not your typical red sauce Italian restaurant where traditional dishes are served in huge portions.

The dining area is attended by Elio Suriano who is welcoming, friendly, and attentive as he can be seen at table side side following up with diners to ensure they are being attended to.

The greeting and service are very friendly and attentive

Corso 98 is open six days/week. Closed Mondays
