Restaurant Review

If you are from the rural south and have a longing for some in expensive, down home, country style BBQ, than this is the place for you.

This BBQ eatery resembles a southern style roadhouse, located in the middle of nowhere. The food is also, not surprisingly, prepared down home, country style tasty, and inexpensive.

The place is run by two sisters, Towanda and Rhoda and is named after their mother Christine. They are open only in the warmer months from around Easter to late October.

With a cooker located outside under a lean-to, the prepare very good ribs, chicken, fish, pulled pork, along with greens, salads, pies, corn bread, and an outstanding "eggy" potato salad.

On hot days try and eat outside as there is no AC.
