This Italian restaurant is one of the more elegant restaurants in Jackson --- although it's food and sevice fall a bit short. The decor is Roman-styled with large white Roman columns in the center of the main dining room. The menu offers a good price value with a wide selection of large portions of standard Italian fare. The Caldi and Freddi Antipasti's are well prepared with ample choices Southern Italian favorites. The entrees are standard offerings of pasta dishes, poultry, veal, and grilled steaks. Popular menu items include the filet mignon and escargot. They have a bar with a good stock of beverages where you can have a cocktail while you wait for your table, although the restaurant is rarely crowded and seating is generally immediately available. They have DJ s music on Fridays. The restaurant is child friendly and the staff is friendly. |
