Located between the Ugly Mug and Jackson Mountain Cafe, the entrance is through an enclosed patio seating area that leads to the interior dining room.
The decor is modern and clean with walls adorned with old photographs of concrete ships built near the end of the war that can be found off the coast of Cape May Point, and high-backed dark wooden booths with candle lighting.
The wait staff are dressed in T-shirts and black pants or shorts.
If you are one of the many summer vacationers or day trippers, ask for outside seating and enjoy the added attraction of people watching.
The have a blackboard menu posted outside that lists the daily specials. Inside they have two refrigerated cases with seafood specials that are available raw or cooked for takeout.
The Cape May Fish Market does a good job of sticking to the basics in sea food preparation and offers choices of cooking styles; Grilled, deep-fried, or broiled.
The portions are very large and diners are likely to ask for a "doggie bag" to finish their meal.
If you come for dinner and their is a line, ask to have your name placed on the waiting list and have a walk around the mall until your table is ready.
The Cape May Fish Market is child friendly and offers kids menu.
